{couture} fall 2011 rtw: marc jacobs

Marc Jacobs Fall collection was severe and structured – the opposite of his last 70s inspired runway.  He used latex, lace, and some fabulous polka dots.  The editors are going gaga over this one, and I think it is amazing, but I preferred the easier silhouettes and bold patterns of his Marc by Marc Jacobs collection.
