{couture} DKNY spring 2010 RTW

I was looking at the new issue of Vogue this  morning, and saw an ad for DKNY that reminded me how awesome the Spring 2010 RTW collection was.  Pink/grey, sequins, and florals. Yes, please!  This is exactly what I’d like to be wearing right now.

LOVE the slouchy proportions and color combination in this shorts/sweater look.

Killer hot pink shift dress.

More slouchy proportions and that fantastic grey/coral color combo.

Love this print.  I think it looks really modern to wear it in all three pieces, but each would also look great on its own.

I think this is my favorite look.  I love the slouchy jacket and shorts with the fantastic sequin tank.

This sequin jacket is to-die-for.

This is so pretty for a hot summer day (or April in Baltimore this week, apparently).

{inspire} eloise corr danch

I saw Eloise’s work on frolic and fell in love.  I’ve never met a big flower I didn’t like, and I adore these paper versions.  I think I need one of the chandeliers.

{shop} new USPS stamps

I am one of those people who likes a little personality on my postage.  I hate when there are no interesting offerings at the Post Office! When I got married the USPS had the great Eames stamps, and we used those instead of the traditional wedding stamps.  Now, they are offering these awesome Abstract Expressionism stamps that I am loving.

I also like these Adopt a Shelter Pet stamps, which come out at the end of the month.  We got our dog Deniro from the SPCA and I think it is really important to raise awareness about adopting, instead of buying, pets.

And if you need further convincing, check out this sweet face:

{shop} cynthia rowley for roxy

I’m a big Cynthia Rowley fan.  Her clothes are whimsical and fantastic. I loved her as a judge on HGTV Design Star, and I was all about her line of home goods at Target when I was in college.  Now she has collaborated with the surf company Roxy and the results are so much fun!

The Boardwalk Shoes are so colorful (and color blocked!).  They look comfy too.

LOVE this pinwheel beach towel.  I really like the graphic design and the bright colors.

How fab are these sea urchin sandals!? I am really into the tassel.

By no stretch of the imagination am I a surfer, or even athletic for that matter, but if I was, I was totally buy this green room wetsuit.

The multi-colored pier wedges are so much fun!  I’d wear them with white shorts or jeans this summer.  They seem to be sold out on both the Roxy and Cynthia Rowley websites, but they do have them at zappos.

This collection really makes me ready for summer.
