{wear} oxfords/brogues

At first I wasn’t too hot on the oxfords/brogues trend, but I have to say that it’s growing on me.  They look really cute with shorts or a skirt, and I think they’d be fun for the fall with wide-leg or skinny pants.  There are some really fun high heel and open-toe styles out there now, but for now, I’m focusing on the flats.

The Camden Tipped Brogues at J.Crew are pretty great.  I like the pale natural color.

CHURCH’S Burwood Metallic Brogues are amazing.  Love the silver/white combo.  Is anyone else having flashbacks to spray-painting their tap shoes for dance recitals?

Love the ribbon laces and the tweed/leather combination on these H by Hudson Virginia Ribbon Detail Brogues.

The Jeffrey Campbell Uniform is fabulous – it comes in so many patent colors!

The kiltie detail on these Steven Miltie brogues are really great.  Very 40s.

These crackley metallic oxfords from Boutique 9 are really cute and stylish.

These House of Harlow 1960 “Tilly” Perforated Oxfords are funky and unique.  Love the perforations.

Traditional styling with pearlized leather make these Block Wingtip Jazz Shoes really special.

It took me a while to embrace it too, but they’re such classic shoes* And I agree – perfect for fall.
