{couture} 2010 CFDA awards fashion

Overall, not much exciting fashion at the CFDA Awards, which seems ironic.  There were a few standouts.

SJP presented a posthumous Board of Directors Special Tribute to Alexander McQueen and she looked stunning in a dress of his design.  I love how the skirt moves!

Gwyneth looked gorgeous in Michael Kors (who was the recipient of the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award).

You know I don’t like Jessica Biel, but I kind of dug her Diane von Furstenberg caftan look.

Dakota Fanning looked adorable in Marchesa.  I love this short tulle-accented dress.  She is super stylish, but age appropriate.

And finally, I liked Rachel Zoe in Marc Jacobs (Womenswear Designer of the Year).  What’s not to like about a sequin caftan!?  Also love the black satin platform pumps.
