spring rtw 2012: part 4

Isaac Mizrahi showed some really pretty, girly dresses for Spring.  And since you know I basically love anything with a bow on it, I am dying over that pink dress.

Christian Siriano‘s Spring collection was gorgeous. I love the acid green/nude color combination.

L’Wren Scott‘s show was sort of uneven, but I dug the lady-like looks as well as the fantastic black ensembles.

Happy Weekend! xoxo S

new house

So I’ve been MIA for a while… Husband and I are buying an adorable house and there has been lots of stress. BUT, we close on April 27 and we are getting very excited.

Here it is:

I’m especially excited about our fireplace, hardwood floors, and vintage black and white bathroom.

It is going to be so much fun decorating and sharing it all on this blog!

help remedies

Just came across this cute little company after looking inside J.Crew’s Bridal Designer Kim’s bag.

Help Remedies are small packages of bandages or drugs.  The company looks awesome – great designs, products made in the USA, eco-friendly packaging, no added dyes or sugar, and they donate 5% of their profits to charities that help people without healthcare.

They’re the perfect size to stash in your bag or desk.  Genius.

Continuing our holiday card wrap-up, I am loving these Kate Spade designs by Crane. Seriously glamorous and whimsical.  I love how the colors are festive, but unexpected. Expensive, but a nice treat!

{shop} new @ kate spade

So I know I just did a Kate Spade post, but my sister and I were oohing and ahhing over so many of the new arrivals in the Newbury Street store, that I feel like i have to do another one!

Broome Street Jeans = yes please!  Kate Spade jeans!  These are super dark and skinny. They also have fun pink stitching when you turn up the cuff. Love these.

Frosted Felt Market Tote. We were dying over this one. Felt is so right for fall/winter and this lovely grey is perfect.

This sweet patent karolina comes in strawberry and aqua and is a great pastel pop for the cool weather.

Also really loving the velvet chime shoe in black and wine. Perfect for holiday parties.

The crystal confection ring is a perfect cocktail ring.

And as big fans of the gumdrop stud, we really liked this lever back version.

spring 2011 rtw – part 7

Jill Sander may be my favorite Spring collection.  Fantastic full skirts, gorgeous bright colors, and THE STRIPES!  It was really quite perfect.

The color combinations are so good!  Love this.

{couture} spring 2011 rtw – part 6

I’d never heard of London-based designer Jonathan Saunders before, but his Spring 2011 collection is fabulous.  Love the bright colors and feminine silhouettes.

More gorgeous color at Christopher Kane.  This time, in neon.

I didn’t love all of Gucci for Spring 2011, but the jewel tone pieces with gold accents were fantastic.  Digging the 70s vibe too.
